signature challenge

due to some preposterous examples, my colleagues have started noticing people’s signatures on their work emails, and in particular, the use of quotations. what started us of was this perennial classic:

“Work like you don’t need the money, dance like no one is watching and love like you’ve never been hurt.”

whatever your personal feeling about the quote, it’s slightly off-center for a consulting company email signature. it has, in fact inspired some competitors. one fellow i work with offered this:

“Everybody’s working for the weekend, love is a battlefield and I’m dancing like I’ve never danced before.”

that prompted my own reply:

“Work like you’re about to be fired, love like you’re about to go to be arrested and dance like you’re trying to get out of jail.”

are you funnier? give it a few shots in the comments.

and i swear to god, if there are no comments by monday, i will never write another post.
