where ya been??

what’s up, gang?

i sure haven’t written a post in a while, have i? i guess mostly cause i haven’t felt i’ve had too much to say. or maybe i’ve felt like no one really listened anyway. or maybe i just doubted the internet’s ability to contain me, the way a small paper bag wouldn’t be able to contain an adult male cougar.

so what’s new?

i’ve been in richmond thinking about my next “career” move. most recently, i’ve been playing xbox 360. way too much. which is one more reason i may head back up to DC for a while. another is that i miss the city and being surrounded by…noise. i feel way too much surrounded by myself at the moment.

what about you?

if you read this blog and don’t write a comment, i hate you. leave me an inspirational message. believe me, i could use it. you don’t have to use your real name, in fact, it’s probably funnier if you don’t. go for it.

    Hi Greg
Sounds like you are really enjoying your new surroundings (??). Life is still the same down here in Sydney. Just thought I’d take a look at what you’ve been up to (yawn). I’m just back from the Frankfurt bookfair which was quite good. Studio is still the same. We’ve decided that it’s like the Truman show - when you leave or get sacked, there’s someone in the lane downstairs with a camera telling you that none of it is real.
That’s all, other than “Ian says hi”.
    cheers

I know ive missed you, although, calling yourself a male cougar might be misleading… As for inspirational, you were better than any of the teachers I have this year, although theyre all british, so they sound much classier. goodluck with the…move? Have fun with the 360, you should probly ditch it and get a wii though, as everyone knows they are better by 763%. (it was proven in a labratory) Have a great night, sir,

    Greg,
If you are truly in Richmond, then for what reason have you not called? (Perhaps you don’t have my number?)

The following is a list of occurances which have personally unfolded over the past month to month and a half. Only one is a complete falsehood. Can you identify it?

    1) I broke my right pinky finger playing co-ed adult flag football on a team so atrociously bad I serve as the first-string quarterback.
    2) I was arrested in Munich, Germany on suspicion of public drunkness and criminal mischief, upon which I was held in police custody for four-plus hours and forced to post a 517 Euro bail.
    3) I met the actor Reginald VelJohnson, better known to some for his role as Carl Winslow, even taking the time to briefly stop and pose for a photograph.
    4) I successfully courted a beautiful young lady for the better portion of the summer, eventually persuading this love interest to go to bed with me, followed by thoughts the next day that maybe I don’t like her as much as I convinced myself during the actual “chase.”

I anxiously await your response. Actually, I’m not that anxious, but whatever…
