as one of my earlier posts indicated, i’d been struggling with the idea of this trip a little bit. it turns out i’m not a very good tourist on my own; i’m not interested in “seeing” things. i’m a fantastic companion, of course, just not on my own.

what an awesome city. i mean, awesome. beautiful buildlings, beautiful people, and–somehow–me. the last couple days i’ve spent simply meandering the downtown area. note, no one in australia says ‘downtown’ and most of them will laugh at you if you say it. they stop laughing when you punch them in the face, though.
